School 42
School 42 is a free coding school located in Jakarta, Indonesia that is fully endorsed by the French and Indonesian governments including the Ministry of Communication and Informatics of the Republic of Indonesia.
Founded by former Indonesian Trade Minister Gita Wirjawan, OnlinePajak founder Charles Guinot and Guillaume Catala, School 42 is modelled after School 42, a private, nonprofit and tuition-free computer programming school in Paris, France.
School 42 aims to support the Indonesian startup ecosystem by creating the most up-to-date, international-standard curriculum. School 42’s unique value propositions for students are:
- No pre-academic requirements
- Course and materials are free of charge
- Freedom in choosing the course path and complete it in their own pace
- 2-3 years program leading into internships and jobs at leading tech companies and startups
